Pacific Rugby Players (PRP) is seeking a passionate and culturally grounded Personal Development Manager (PDM) to support the personal and professional development of rugby players across Samoa.

The PDM will play a key role in providing holistic off-field support, helping emerging players, academy athletes, and national representatives balance rugby, education, career development, personal wellbeing, and life beyond the game.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support player wellbeing, mental health, and personal development.
• Deliver education programmes covering financial literacy, leadership, professionalism, and life skills.
• Guide players in career planning, education, and preparing for life after rugby.
• Support players and their families through key career transitions, including overseas opportunities.
• Build strong partnerships with schools, rugby organisations, education providers, and community stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of Samoan and Pacific cultures.
• Experience in counselling, psychology, social work, education, or player welfare.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written Samoan.
• A passion for supporting and empowering Pasifika rugby players.

Role Details:
Location: Samoa, based on-island
Part-time: 20 hours per week
